Twin Falls Friday Night Market + Farmers Market

Finally our town has something fun to do weekly to bring our community together!!! We went last night and it was really fun. Here is what our city's plug is about it, then I'll tell you mine after.....
Beginning Friday, May 6 Every Friday thru September, 4pm to 8pm Live music and great local products. Main Avenue W. at Shoshone Come shop and play with us! If you'd like to be a vendor, please contact Shelley Bennett: 208.368.0000 or shelley@brixusa.com, or Sarah Taylor: 208.733.5313. Downtown Twin Falls. www.twindowntown.com

Ok, So my plug is that it was so fun to hear live music and have the kids dancing around. I loved the smell of Kettle Corn and Pulled Pork Sandwiches. Even the beer was kinda fun to see in some of the people's hands because it always reminds me of people enjoying themselves. I don't suggest that or I don't ever do that, but you know its true. Ok, so I thought it was fun sampling the salsas, breads, cheese and sweets and watching Chris after he sampled the jalapeno salsa. Hahaha! There was jewelry, hair clips, bread, herbs, goat cheese, produce, wine, jam, awesome lamps and all sorts of wonderful things for sell ALL from local vendors! I think all the stores were open late too. I LOVED the fact that there was a craft there for kids. Hands On pottery store had a spin art there for kids for $1!!! They all loved it! Yay!  I love the cheep crafts so they want to come back. This week, I am not sure if it's every week, but it should be :), there was a classics car show on the other side of main. (by Crowley's Soda Shop and the water structure) There was the classic music DJ and we walked around and looked at all the restored classic cars. Chris and I decided we like the Camero style best with Mustang coming up second. What years of those models you are wondering, ummm, yeah, so am I. :) But they were there and looked cool.

One thing I wanted to see more of were the VENDORS! To be a vendor is FREE this first summer!!! If you have something fun that you make weather it be homemade goods or services or ANYTHING, think about it!!! I am totally figuring out if I can do this asap with my ruffled diaper covers and pants, simple skirts and have some dresses to order in plastic hanging. I could also include my homemade bread and my sister needs to come over with her cookies! Oh gosh, what about... Isabel painting faces for $0.25 to $1 each for the kids!!! Hummm. Wheels are turning!!

I need to say something about Farmers Market too... The Twin Falls Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 9am to 1 pm, May through October at the College of Southern Idaho Ag Endowment Farm on North College Road in Twin Falls, Idaho. North of CSI. But, again, I think there needed to be not only more vendors, but more FARMERS!!!

I am going to put my 2cents in here because it's my blog and I can do that, and say that I think there needs to be one or the other. Friday Night Market OR Farmers Market. Truely. Things fizzle when they are spread thin. They are trying to be the same thing. We need to keep community together and restore our down town area into something nice. I grew up in California where in San Luis Obispo they have an amazing Farmers Market. Its a standing party every week. You just can not help from going! Now the SLO county does farmers markets in surrounding towns on their specific days.

The longer I live in Twin Falls, I like it more and more. These kinds of events brings our communities together. The old fashion way! :)

Grandma Adeline

My Grandma Adeline was stunning. This picture was on my cousin Cydney's blog. I LOVE IT! So, I stole it. :)

Cyd mentioned that GG would have been 102 this year. She was an amazing woman! She is on the back row, 2nd from the left. Totally gorgeous, right!! In this picture, Adeline was part of the Royal Court of the Gold and Green Ball in Forestdale Stake. I too LOVE the clothes of this era and actually get lots of my inspiration from it as a designer.

You were very loved Grandma Adeline!

A family Sunday afternoon

See honey, All the kids love you to pieces!
Goofing around is what we do best here at the Lheron Homestead.

Addy wanted to just take a picture looking at this leaf. She has some fun ideas.

I wanted to show off my Grandma Duncan's Jewelry that I love to wear. Vintage. Fun.
Addy told me that if I had my arm up like this it would show off the bracelet and look more fashionable. :)

Oh gosh... my heart tingles on this one.....

Bea is wearing a pair of Char's Ruffle Butts Ruffle Pants. It's actually very convenient that they wear the same size around. They are Capri's on her, but really cute with this dress!

The gold cape was promptly put on when we got home from church today. Must have something sparkly on!!!

This is Addy's idea of a magazine cover....

Char is super duper! Her first offical day of Nusery was last Sunday, June 5th! She LOVES it and has a wonderful time with all the kids her age. This shot of her is after that long day of church and so she gets a binki! :)

Lunch is served and Addy has been in charge of the camera! Almost got all of our faces in the shot.

OK, here is the other try on getting everyone in the shot, but homemade pizza is getting cold!!
She says... take a pic of me laughing! :) hahahah!

Ok, Now Gabe, I dont know how you get a KoolAid mustache when you are using a straw! What!
I think it's because they never get drinks like this and so its like a treat and you've got to indulge in ever sense of the experience!

This really will go down to one of my favorite pictures of you Gabe! hahhahaha!

This picture takes me to the point where life happens so fast and I dont want it to pass by!
Isabel is such a sweet sister! Beatrice just loves her purely and deeply. Thank you Izzy!
Oh, that's where you are Charlotte!! hahah!
Another favorite!! Oh boy I love this life I have!

Olive Oil

I MIGHT need another cool looking smaller bottle for the kitchen. HA!

We are a big family that loves Costco and buys in bulk everything! Especially because I make almost everything from scratch for our health! This is a funny picture to me.

My new ruffle butts

Char is sooooo much fun to take pictures of!
All the kids are at this age! And she's a wonderful model for my new ruffle butts in color!!

I cant stop making these roses!! I LOVE them!

POOL

These 2 babies are always in the pool. We keep it right here on the porch filled up and ready to go on nice days. Char is JUST able to get into it by herself.

Yep, thats sidewalk chalk too.
Freespirited children have the best ideas!

New Vintage Jewelry for LLC

I put some vintage jewelry on some of my dresses. Usually stuff that is broken or mismatched. An order came in and Beatrice was with me. Eyes wide and a look I have felt all too many times!! I can tell she is in love with sparkles and pearls and happy pretty things. So, we had to try some stuff on. And more, and more and more.

I know you are totally jealous!

Another outfit!

Adeline has this sense of style all her own. I actually love it. I love that she does her own thing all the time no matter what anyone else says. She is always evolving. I hear from other parents all the time about their own kids that they don't really let them choose to wear what they want and do their hair the way they want. Addy and I have a deal. She does what she wants if its modest and appropriate for the occasion and I get to give my guidance on Sundays for church. Totally reasonable.
This picture reminds me of when Jessica told me that my kids have the spirit of childhood look about them. How many do I have that says that??? I am not sure, countless, but I will totally post this one because it's totally my Adeline.

A new addition!!!!

Ok, I bet some of you thought that I was going to say I was pregnant again. ha! :)

We have a new addition to the family! His given name is Gilbert Blythe and the kids call him Cheesy. Except Beatrice because she supports my decision in calling him Gilbert because Caliou has a cat named Gilbert on PBS kids. No matter the reasoning, I am happy with it! So, his name is really Gilbert Blythe Cheeseball Lheron. That works.

We picked him at Kmart on the first day of summer break!! Hank the cat doesn't really know about him just yet, but they are getting used to each other.

We hope this one has 9 lives because he has to survive the babies handling him.

introducing.... The Gentle Giant!

Bea gets a BIKE!

We go to the park in our neighborhood ever single weekday in the summer for lunch. I needed everyone on a bike this summer. I love to run to the park with Char in the runner stroller. I figure it will save me time in my now crazy busy days. Time with the kids and part of my workout all in one. Yeah! Chris and I went to the DI and found an awesome tiny princess bike for $8. It needed to be tuned up with some stuff and VOILA! Very fun suprize for Bea.

I problably take way too many pictures, but really, is there such a thing? ok, yes, but its ok when you have little people like this to take them of. :)

Once in awhile I take some really awesome pictures. This is one of them. Beatrice is so beautiful!!

Oh yes, since we are on bikes... Gabe got pegs! YAHOO!
Now Isabel takes his bike all the time again. hahahahaah! Pegs wont work on her bike, DANG!

Look at this guy! Gets the best dad award!! Thanks!
