"Mom, this time you've gone too far!"

Well, not in those exact words, but that was the exact tone from Beatrice. Last night she didn't want to stay in her bed to sleep.

Me: "Bea, if you don't stay in your bed tonight and go to sleep, you'll be forced to take TWO NAPS tomorrow!"
B: with extremely crazy wide eyes, "two naps???".With her shmozing serious smile, "Goodnight mommy!"
I ran out of the room trying not to laugh.


I love their little voices! And Bea's is one of my favorites! She is so fun and her voice makes everyone just happy! So, you would have had to be there to appreciate the dialogue, but this is blog worthy to me. :)

Yep, I can finally do something with my talent. I am way excited and am opening up an etsy.com shop, a meylah.com shop, and my own blog with my fashions on for people to buy. I even saw a wonderful store downtown that sells quality homemade goods called Idaho Indie Works in Boise that I got lots of info about. I'm starting with my blessing dresses and fun dresses, skirts and ruffle pants for girls. I am totally excited to be able to do women's wear too, but I am only one woman. :) We'll see what happens! yeah!!

Fight Club??

Chris and I watched a boxing movie last night. I always totally confused why anyone would want to box. After asking many questions to Chris about how guys think (just as he asks me during "girl movies"). He said that guys think it feels so great just pounding on someone! I found myself starting to actually totally enjoy the boxing fighting scenes. The commentators of the boxing fight were saying words I knew and have practiced and feel like I am getting good at! Like: uppercut, cross punch and hook! I thought it would be funny if the words of our Isabel when she was 3 may ring true in more ways than I think.....she responded to Gpa Lee one day after he asked why she was hitting her dad with, "Oh it's OK Grandpa! We are a fighting family!". THEN I thought of this clip... 

Now this is more like it! I adore Jane Austen and I have read almost all of her work. I may be a boxing fan after all and start my own fight club! Can you imagine what kind of therapy this would be for most of the members in Relief Society!! Now that would be a fun secret society right there! I think I might be scared of Amy Call though. She looks super sweet and is like a perfect friend and example, but I don't know if I'd be the one left standing in a dark alley. Have you scene her arms after doing P90X for the second time? And my friend Kat! Holy Cow! She looks small and so cool, but really... I have no chance against her. :)
I know, my ideas are just... one of a kind!  ;)

Teething!!!

Eye teeth!! They are the worst!

You'd think they'd be sharper and come through easier! Poor Charlotte cant sleep well and is just not herself. Everything hurts for her. After tons of Advil used (for her and I), I did finally get out my voodoo (as I call it) bottle of ear ache b gone by Posergy. It helped quite a bit. So, why do I blog about this?? Because it's all to consuming in our lives, 24hrs a day. Once these teeth are in, we'll have a break for a while! I hope.

I am realizing that the odds of everyone in the house being 100% healthy at the same time is against me. :)

In My Arms

    

    Chris bought this CD the other day and I have just fell in love with it. I play it all the time, Bea knows the words. :) If you click on the picture, it'll play my very favorite song on the CD. Plumb dedicated this album to her children. I love that! I feel like I feel this way about my children. I am so in love with them. I wish I could be a better mother to them. Its really hard to balance everything, even loving my children. I know this life is for something and all these things I have to balance is for a grand purpose. I hope.
     I looked for a video and there are like so many, but when I started looking, there are a ton about Christ loving us in this way. I never thought of that while I was listening. But, I am thinking that I would love to be loved this way. :) Sounds nice.
   This video isn't my favorite, but it works and it is beautiful. I usually don't like other people's take on the artist's songs, but its tough to add a just a song on my blog with out putting a video on. There might be a way, but I don't know how to do that yet. I hope you enjoy the song as much as I do! :)

Ginger O's

Wow! Now that is a lot of blogging! This post is number 15 posts just for today! Make sure you dont miss any! I think that took care of most of my photos. I love this blog. Its for my family just as much it is for the family that we dont live around, and friends where ever they are. I have been totally preoccupied as of late and havent blogged like I've wanted to. But, I have been still taking pictures. One major thing I have been doing is working out! hahah. I did the P90X program for an entire month with my friends every day. But, it just took soo much of my time (1 1/2 hrs a day devoted to sweating during nap time) that I just had to let it go. Now I do a 20 or 40 min workout or running on the treadmill. That fits my needs at this time. I have been designing again for blessing dresses! YAY! I just have so much I want to do! I have a really hard time just organizing what is in my brain to do! Well, I could go on forever, and some things are seeming to be taking too long to upload on YouTube to share now, but the kids are home from school and I have to get back to living so we can put it on the blog. hahah.

To end my day of catching up, I'd like to end on a sweet note.

These are the best store bought cookies out on the market! :) Chris and I think these are our favorite! I saw a little fun thing on the package yesterday. Its totally silly, but blog worthy to me.

Happy Birthday Chris!

What better ways to celebrate ones birthday when you've got kids around! We made a nice big poster board for Chris for his announcement of his bday! We loved making it and he likes our attention. :)

One gift I gave him was a clean dresser (yes, this is clean) and a new framed picture of me (the gift that keeps on giving hahah).  

I asked Chris what he wanted for his birthday. We had just gone to our friends house in Utah for a fun filled weekend and we went to our favorite resturaunt, Tucanos, while we were there and so he said that was his gift. He also got this way cool board game, Alhambra. So, I couldnt just give him nothing on his actual birthday, so along with a nice dinner and a pie, I asked the kids what they wanted to give him. Oh kids are great! They said all these crazy things that were not even possible. But, then they said CANDY! Ok, so you know me, I cant just give a bunch of candy. So, I thought of some silly things the kids could say with some of Chris's favorite candies. It was pretty darn fun! :)

The first of many

"Born at Home" Shirt!!

Oh heck ya! My kids are going to be spreading the word this summer at the park with their new tshirts! :) Natural Birth Rocks! Options is what I want people to know about. After helping so many women and talking to them about my experiences with natrual cchildbirth, I thought it would be fun to get some Tshirts done up. I have lots of ideas and designs and a few ways to print them up. I looked up screen printing at home and did it!

Freezer paper works really well OR creating a reusable stencil with an embroidery hoop, organza fabric and mod podge. Pretty darn cool. Still working out the kinks, but I think I found a job for Chris this summer... now we just need to get a million people to want to buy tshirts on etsy.com!! :) haha!

A few weeks ago I took these videos. At first I was not excited at all for Charlotte to be walking. Once babies are walking they are into absolutely everything! I think that she took her time to walk for my sanity and because she wanted to get it down just right. I think she is my sensitive perfectionist, already! Congrats Char on another milestone! :)
