Shoshone Falls!

A fun day with Daddy home!! Yeah!!

We went to Shoshone Falls on Saturday and had such a fun time together! It was fun to see the falls in such AWESOME power. The last time we went, a few months ago, there was barely any water to them! So, this was really fun. There were soooo many people there! I guess everyone wanted to see them, even those folks from Maryland. I think those falls is what got settlers to stay here. Maybe something else too.....nope, just that.

We hiked and got wet and Bea even got her first, defiantly not last, skinned up knees. We cooled off and built dams in the nearby streams. I took some photos of plants in the streams maybe my dad can figure out what they are. Gabe is wondering what that red plant is in the water in the slide show! I always tell him to just ask Grandpa. (Maybe I should have been a little more interested in biology when I was younger. Now, I get a million questions a day! but, we have Grandpa Lee and Google for answers!) Most of the photos are of course of the family and kids. I was the one with the camera. We did get a few shots with me in there.

RS Sewing group

Relief Society Sewing Group:

Please let me know what kind of STYLE of apron you want to sew. You ALL don't have to do the same one, but if I know a general idea, I'll be able to make up a few patterns for us. They also don't have to be exactly like these. I just want you to know all these styles are really easy and fun to do!!!

I looked up on http://www.etsy.com/ and http://www.laylagrayce.com/for these photos and ideas.

STYLE means the design and lines of the apron, NOT the fabrics!!! If you have questions, ask away!!

Thanks ladies! This will be fun!

2008 Parker/Phillips reunion

I finally figured out a few ways to successfully put on slide shows, so that is why this is posted again. There are some great pics here.

Kiddy pool and sprinklers

Well, we did have summer here for a few days. It's been raining ever since.
Anyway, these were some way cute photos of Addy and Bea one day.

Blurry, but you can tell she LOVES IT!

7 Dresses!

I made 7 Wedding party dresses for little girls in a week. WOW! I would not have been able to do it unless Chris was home that week!!! Thank goodness! I did this for Melanie's sister n law. Most everyone knows Melanie. She was my best friend growing up. Its fun being friends with someone for like 20 years!!! WoW! I sound old! The bride is a really great photographer, so I hope to get some "real" pictures sometime. I just impressed I did all that in a week! They were cute dresses! I hope they really did like them. The wedding was this weekend.

Granny's Park

While we were in Brigham City for Memorial day, we stayed with Chris's mom...Granny! We had a great time. She has a neighborhood park that was fun. The view of the mountains were beautiful! I think my favorite place to take pictures of the kids are at parks. Its like their element or something! Of course, I was not allowed to post pictures of Granny, so some cute ones are not included. (See Granny, I obey!!)

Meeting up with Gma Arba!

Aunt Sheri called me one day and said that she and Grandma Arba were coming to Utah. It was Memorial Day weekend. So, we met them at Aunt Laurel's grave in Thatcher and then went to the church for a picnic. My mom came too. It also was Mackenzie's Wedding shower. It was fun to hang out with the Aunts and some cousins. There are always laughs and lots of food. This time, there were Bridal Shower games for Mackenzie with M&Ms so that is what is all over the little kids!

Grandma Arba with Jessica's baby.

Isabel and her way cute glasses!
This is Denise's little girl.
Bea with Gma Lana! She surprised us with a Blue tooth in her ear! What is this world coming to when your parents have better technology then you!!

hats

I love making hats for the girls. I wasn't totally done making this one for Beatrice, what do you think? It'll hide ALL the sun off her face! I like it because she cant take it off easily!

Duck Park

Adeline and I went to the Duck Park with our friends, the Randalls. The duck park has an old park and it sits in the middle of the cemetery. So, we had fun and then we got to go walk around the cemetery. It's so interesting looking around at the headstones and seeing what people leave their loved ones. At any rate, it was fun.

Chris reading to Beatrice

We all have our favorite books. Beatrice LOVES 3 books that she wants Chris to read every moment he's home. One of them is this, We Love Ballet! The others are Walking Through the Jungle (Chris of course makes all the sounds of the animals and she cracks up every time) and School Bus, which he reads in a fun Australian accent. It's hilarious to me! Actually, when I read the school bus book to her, if I don't use an Australian accent, she skips that book alot, it's almost like she doesn't think I'm doing it right.

Spring Days with Bea!

She is such a great subject to photograph!!!

Beatrice looking at all her kittys!
She picks them up at the back of their neck!

Then she hugs them by the neck. Poor things are like little dolls. We are hoping to get rid of them before they die. ha!
