Balloon Ceremony for Gilbert's only Birthday

I have written a little bit about Gilbert's birth and my experience in having a natural miscarriage experience. Not to mention how much I loved my baby before I was even pregnant and miss the loss of his spirit as it seems its totally just gone from anywhere around us. It has helped a lot to do that. I havent been able to finish and post that just yet. But, I can share this! My dear friend Jessica took pictures from this very special day, just 2 days after I gave birth to Gilbert at home. It has meant so much to me to have these pictures. And ofcourse she made them look amazing! :) THANK YOU!! I'll cherish these forever. :)

All of us wrote or drew or stickered  priceless notes to Gilbert and added a memorial note showing Gil's stats as an angel baby and included his birthday. I attached them to balloons to float to heaven. 

 

What better place to do this than at home. This is where we loved Gilbert the most. This is the place that is sacred to me and our family, our home. So, we made our home yet even more special with a ceremony balloon launch just for our angel baby boy. :)

I love the men in my life. :) They hold me up to stand a little taller every day. :) 

Did that with out sobbing! Good job honey! :) 

One more really hard thing done...check... now the rest of our lives with out our baby to go. 

I think we'll do something cool for Gilbert every year on his very special birthday.
