I love to see the Temple!

I love that we have a temple 5 mins away! I go all the time now. I love it!

So, this has been on my mind to post this forever, but now I'm doing it. These photos were taken at the open house this summer. Some I got from the internet! We are just so lucky!

We heard about when the Angel Moroni was going on top of the temple and we got shots of it. Only the stake presidents were told by church headquarters and was supposed to be hush hush. So, naturally, the entire town was there to see it!! Ha!

Utah trip

We had a great time this past weekend in Utah. We went down to see Peter Pan. A play produced and preformed by the South Jordan Community Theatre! Totally awesome! Anyone that is in that area the next time they do their performances, you just have to go!! Really great job! Kim, Chris's sister, choreographed the entire show! And, the nieces were in it too! We just had to go and see what they worked so hard for.

On our journey, we also met up with Johnson cousins, Granny and also some new family! Zoe, also Chris's sister, got married! She eloped! The only way to go!!! Her new hubby's name is Chris! HA! And he has 2 kids! Soo Cute! So, while we were there, we took some fun shots!

The Big Cut!

The girls and I have had long hair forever. It has been really fun! But, we knew it was time to say goodbye and let someone else benefit from the hair, Locks of Love. So, we decided to cut our hair OFF while we were in Utah this past weekend!

I was so proud of Isabel and Adeline. They did a really great job for my stepsister in law, Angie. We had a great time! Isabel donated 10inches. Her hair was the healthiest!

Adeline donated 14 inches. She still had blonde curls from when she was a baby!!!

I donated 20 inches!! Amazing!!

Thanks Angie, you did a great job!!

Okay! My childhood friend, Chelsea (Jansson) Watts and I email each other quite often. She told me about these Fun Buns to make. My kids had so much fun, we had to take pictures and just share. Thanks Chelsea.

Parker/Phillips Reunion

Well! We had an amazing Family Reunion. It was a very full week! I (Leslie) come from a "mine, yours and ours" family so we have a big group. We all actually really like each other too! haha! The reunion was at my dad's farm in Alsea, Oregon! He's got 75 acers and lots on it!

Ok, so the kids had lots of fun with tons of cousins, I had a great time with all the sisters and moms and Chris had a great time doing whatever it is that guys do! hehe! We had a really fun water fight, a day to play The Semi-Great Race, they canoed on the pond and went to the creek. All this on The Farm! Ok, so we did go to the beach one day and had lots of fun! I have a slide show here of Beatrice, Linda's amazing bubbles, the water fight, singing on the hay ride, more of Beatrice, my kids playing, lots of cousins, the race, even more of Beatrice, and I even got Chris in there laughing to tears over a joke my nephew told him. I wish I could have more photos in there, but my limit is 50. Dang! I am behind the camera at my house. I'll have to think about that the next time we are on a vacation! For now, here it is!!

my first time

A BLOG first timmer!

I just had a lesson on journal writing and I thought this might be a good way to start again. A BLOG! I have been wanting to share lots of photos and stories from our life and don't think plain old email is going to cut it. Ha! I talk to much and I have too many photos to attach!

For my first time, I don't have a ton of time as I am sitting with Beatrice, my 2month old baby at my side. I just wanted to get something going! The kids totally keep me busy, but I still love to do what I love to do. HA! Beatrice is our fourth baby. She was born at HOME on December 15th, 2007. Isabel has been the "emergency babysitter". Chris has a song that goes along with it and everything. "Emergency Babysitter, where is she NOW?" totally fun!
