I would like to share a few photos of just some things we do on a regular basis....

These are not pretty pictures of kids all dressed up and perfectly combed hair. Its real life around here. Because 9 times out of 10, any one of these children darn well could have been looking smashing, until... I don't even know what they do to create the situation that they are in. Its impressive.

I pointed out the rainbow to Beatrice and she SAW it! Way fun! A 2 year old doesn't really know what you mean by... look up there!!

While doing all this and taking pictures of the kids, I left dinner to hopefully not burn.

I am glad that even though she has chocolate ice cream in her hair and under her nails, that at least she has a towel on her shoulder. She is found rummaging through the freezer for ice cream on a regular basis. (her mom's girl I am afraid.. but, hey, I got that from my dad. Yeah, lets blame it on Grandpa Lee. hahaha!)

My babies are the cutest!

Sometimes I dont realize what they are going through until... ooops... then have gone through some pain. :) So, here is Charlotte making a cute new face, but she is really TEETHING! Pretty cute way of making me want to hold her a lot and give her anything she might need.

Spring Break

3rd week of March

We played lots together!

We went on a fun hike through Shoeshone falls area.

The trail goes on and on, but our group of moms and friends just went to the top look out area. All of us were not there yet when this photo was taken. We were probably talking too much to make up with this big group of kids. Gabe is in the center back row. :)

Addy collects lots of fun treasures on her adventures. One of them is rocks. Actually all of the kids are like that, but Addy is the one that made an entire rock family this time. I took a few pics and then she took pictures of the rest of them one by one. She did a pretty good job too. :)

Adeline's new look

Bangs!

Her dream to have bangs we attempted about 3 months ago when she cut them herself to the scalp. NICE! I was so upset about it. It has been long enough to not try to hide the tiny tuft of bangs and give her what she wants. It looks much better obviously. I love that hair grows. :) Anyway, its a big deal for her, so I thought I'd make it a big deal officially and put it up on the blog. YAY ADDY!

Charlottes Blessing Day

Blessing day!

Lily is Zoe's (Chris's sister) baby girl born October 23. Zoe wanted Lily to be blessed as well, so we decided to do it all together. Great idea! Zoe came with Alex and Sebastian. Granny came with her new adopted doggy. Then Paul came with the kids. We had a good time!
If I keep doing all these parties at my house, I'd love to have a bigger kitchen!!

Some of the fun stuff the kids did with their cousins were: writing books, playing with Granny's new dog, drawing, video games, Legos, riding bikes, barbies, playing on the swings and slide, etc. fun stuff!!

The blessing went well. Chris got a hold of the spirit and really did a wonderful job on both babies blessings. He was surprisingly nervous this time. I think it's because he just knows a lot more people this time in our ward. He did Lily Kathleen Alexandra Lheron's blessing first, then Charlotte Alya Lheron's blessing. A lot of the ward thought we had changed Charlotte's name at the last minute. Or I made Chis do the blessing over to do Charlotte's! HAHA! I heard some great stories of delusional fathers changing the babies names up there and not telling their wives they wanted a different name for their baby until they were listening to their husbands bless the baby. hahah! Chris is much to smart for that. thanks honey!

The dress
The dress worked out great. It got my fashion design juices flowing. We named Charlotte out of inspiration of Charlotte Bronte, on of the most amazing authors of all time. Charlotte Bronte lived in the early 19th century and that just so happens to be one of my favorite eras for fashion. (Some of you know, but I majored in Fashion Design and I really loved historical fashion.) So, that being my inspiration, I decided to design a dress for my little Charlotte. I didnt have time or money to go out and buy anything new, but I did have lots of sentimental remnants of things at home. I always have white cotton batiste, then there was lace from Isabel's baptism dress, tulle is well tulle, buttons from Gma Adeline's sewing leftovers, and satin pipping from my wedding dress. I think this may be my favorite way to build something. It forces me to be a little bit more creative.
